LGYRC is located on a 58-acre site bordering beautiful Lake Kalmbach approximately 7 miles off the Parks Highway. The rolling terrain, along with large spruce trees and a beautiful view across the lake, make LaVerne Griffin Youth Recreation Camp a beautiful place to have fun with friends and loved ones while leaving behind daily business that can take over our lives. We offer 12 heated cabins with 86 spaces available for use in the winter and 170 spaces available in the summer. Also available are a bathhouse, a kitchen with dining facilities, two conference rooms, and a game room, all of which are winterized for year-round use. Summertime campers may use the six summer cabins with a capacity of 36 beds encircling a picnic area with grill and electricity. There are also RV spots with electric, water and a dump station. |
